Joining Telford Homes as a Trainee will enable you to become a leader of the future. Our highly successful ‘Careers Under Construction’ Trainee Programme is designed to give you a broad range of experience and the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of each department across the business.

You’ll be mentored throughout the programme – and there’ll be opportunities for you to continue your career with us.

You can participate in either a two or five year structured and supportive training programme that develops your skills and knowledge so that you are all set to be highly successful in one of the following careers: 

• Site Engineering
• Quantity Surveying
• Site Management
• Technical
• Pre- Construction Planning
• Estimating
• Buying

Join us for a five year Trainee Programme and we will finance your education to degree level (level 6) whilst supporting you to gain a recognised industry accreditation such as RICS or MCIOB.

Join us for a two year Graduate Trainee Programme and we will finance you to achieve a recognised industry accreditation such as RICS or MCIOB.

Coupled with the above, you will have the opportunity to experience other key areas of the business and understand how they interface with your chosen area of expertise.

I joined Telford Homes in September 2021 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Everyone at the company has been very welcoming and that made it easy to settle in. The apprenticeship scheme here is great because you can gain invaluable experience in a number of different departments across the company, I’m looking forward to going on rotation to the other departments as part of my development!
