It's the first time I've ever woken up in the morning and wanted to come into work. I'm excited to start the new day and see what happens. I started college and did an engineering extended diploma and from there I then looked for apprenticeships. I kept on contacting Telford Homes and this was when I met Lindsey at an event in London and she mentioned the technical role to me. And I was like, "Oh my gosh that's exactly what I want to do." I got an interview and yeah, that's how I got into Telford Homes.

The trainee scheme, it's can be for five years. Monday I go to university and have my classes there and then the Tuesday to Friday, I'm either on site or I go to meetings, client meetings in London. I'm a very practical person so I like the fact of juggling things around and having that flexibility. I'm studying architectural technology so I'll be an architectural technologist. Here, at Telford Homes we're growing every single day but our chairman, still knows who I am. He knows everyone and that is important you know. We're working as a team. I've had a lot of guidance from my line manager. He's been really supportive in leading me in the right way. Talking to me and we're having regular catch-ups. They care about your wellbeing and I feel they care about you more as a person. I love it, everyone is so funny. We get on so well and because people at Telford are very similar. Especially the jokes we have. I feel like they have become my family in such a short space of time, yeah it's amazing.
