New Government guidance issued on the 1st of April 2022 sets out how to live safely with COVID-19. The guidance sets out that people with symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as COVID-19, and who have a high temperature or do not feel well, should try to stay at home and avoid contact with others. Those who get a positive COVID-19 result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days following the day of their positive result.
The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) have also updated their guidance (1st April) regarding the requirement for employers to explicitly consider COVID-19 in their risk assessments and as a result, the CLC ‘Site Operating Procedures’ and the ‘Use of Face Coverings in Construction’ are now reference documents only.
Telford Homes supports the Government plan and request that all employees, contractors, or visitors avoid coming to work or visiting if they are experiencing any COVID symptoms or have tested positive.
