We’re delighted to be ranked as the UK’s most sustainable housebuilder in the NextGeneration benchmarking report for the second year running. This award is recognition of the role we are playing in reducing our carbon footprint across our portfolio, as we strive to become a net zero carbon company by 2030

John Fitzgerald, Group Managing Director

At Telford Homes, we were ranked as the UK’s most sustainable homebuilder for a second consecutive year by NextGeneration, and were also the recipients of the Best Sustainability Report at the CorpComms Magazine Strategic Comms Awards. Both were unexpected successes and great achievements, to which I’m grateful for the hard work of our people, our investors and our supply chain.

Together we are committed to our BLL strategy and to achieving the milestones in our roadmap. During the reporting period, we have managed to keep our people and supply chains safe and well. We have achieved 92 per cent of our BLL objectives. Also of note, we have completed our third materiality review and a five year social return on investment (SROI) legacy review of our completed projects. The findings are certainly insightful and provide us with additional knowledge to underpin our desire to become the leading Build to Rent (BtR) developer in the UK.
