New Garden Quarter shortlisted for Best Garden/Landscaped Design at the British Home Awards

New Garden Quarter, a joint venture development between Telford Homes and Notting Hill Genesis, has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Garden/Landscaped Design’ category at this year’s British Home Awards.

New Garden Quarter is the fourth zone of the wider Chobham Farm masterplan, located between the East Village and Stratford new town, and the site was previously disused land bounded by railways and infrastructure. The architect’s (Pollard Thomas Edwards) vision was to create a new, landscape-focused London neighbourhood, with duplexes and apartments grouped around a spacious linear park for all to enjoy.

Inspired by traditional London Square Living - green space and nature is central to the concept of New Garden Quarter, with the garden square comprising two acres dedicated to landscaped parkland alongside a feature pond and play area. This is the focal point of the development and provides the residents with an attractive space for relaxation and community events. Planting and landscape typologies are intertwined to establish a rich and verdant landscape for play, recreation and enhanced ecological value.

The winners will be announced at an online award ceremony in October.
