We are thrilled to announce that Telford Homes’ Unity Place, South Kilburn development has been shortlisted in the Housing Design Awards 2022.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved in the success of Unity Place. This award nomination is testament to the work that was put in providing high quality, homes tailored to the design needs of local people, as part of the South Kilburn regeneration plans, alongside Brent Council.

Unity Place offers 235 high-quality homes, affordable homes for families local to South Kilburn. In partnership with Brent Council, Telford Homes delivered this project to form part of the award-winning South Kilburn regeneration programme, which aims to transform the area into a sustainable and mixed neighbourhood and create a real sense of place and belonging for the residents.

The development was designed based on consultations with local residents resulting in a culturally appropriate design with internal corridors and separate kitchens, as well as extensive landscaped areas for public use, and a secure courtyard and children’s play areas restoring the urban picturesque character of the area.

In line with our commitments to sustainable house building, the development has been built with 302 cycle parking spaces as well as provision of electric car charging points in the underground basement.
